I really enjoyed the recent posts that were listed below my favorites. I liked to see some of the topics that weren't on my list, it opened new discussions for me. Were they removed or is it something I did and can I get them back?

I don't know how yours got turned off, but if you go to "my info" then "manage preferences" then "customize home page", then look for the recent posts feature and make sure it is in some position in column #1.

you can now have a list of the latest threads as well as the most recent posts... add it the same way via preferences.
