Anna... bananna.....LOL I LUV your screen name..!!... TY for the DLs..The Iron cross are really pretty. The leaves are green with a purple "cross " in the middle, and the flowers are kinda dark pink in color. The leaves are larger than the regular oxalis, at least larger than mine. You want me to put you down for some??
Kitty.. I would love to "see" someone do the pointing the hairdryer at passing cars.... can't you just imagine what kinda looks "they'd" get?? LOL.. course I would NEVER do anything like that...hehe

You & Charlene & Tabitha all wanted the rock rose at the two previous RUs. Did the little seedlings I brought make it? If not, let me know. These have had more time to grow and will probably transplant better.
Anna, may I have starts of your columbine canadensis, strawberry geranium, kerria, and society garlic? If you have more than one trade of the daylily 'Byzantine Emperor,' I would love to have it too. I am trying to root some white mistflower and have just begun to divide my named daylilies and irises. Please check my list and see what I can bring for you.

Hi everyone- I'm kinda new here and I've never been to a plant swap. I've got about a dozen Red Yuccas with all these seed pods....I'll bring some seeds and a few small plants if there's any interest.
I'll post a list of other haves as soon as I can. Sue

Josephine/Sheila - I'm having trouble with most of the trade links added to your first post. Every time I click on one it tells me to log in first, even though I'm already logged in. And even after I re-login, I still can't view them. The only one that worked for me was the first link...
Great idea though! That trade thread has so much in it & frankly I'm overwhelmed with it. There are so many things I'd like, but since I'm such a newbie I don't have much to trade yet... :)

Jennifer, most people are happy to help newbies get started. Like Cocoa, I'm not looking for trades--if you see something you want, just ask. The most important part is to get together and have a good time. And when you go home with a car full of plants, you'll have plenty to share next year.
That said... there are more things than plants that you could bring. Some people bring compost tea, chicken or rabbit manure, or bags of coffee grounds to share (hey, we fight over that stuff!). This time around, I'm probably going to bring some bottles of the brug "recipe" with alfalfa added. Over on the East Texas RU thread, people are bringing all kinds of stuff: handmade baskets, preserves, homemade bread. I've seen baskets of tomatoes... potting soil... soap...
YARD ART!!!...PLEASE!!!...lol...

Wow, you guys are all so generous. I'm having a really difficult night tonight & I just popped on to check DG and your generosity and kindness is just what I needed. I'm so thankful to have this new outlet/hobby that is so full of positivity. Ok, enough of that for now...the tears are flowing again....don't want that....
I'll take a look back at each of your trade lists & see if there's anything I just can't live without :) And that's a great idea about bringing other items that could be traded besides plants!

Jennifer, I'm sorry that you are feeling so down tonight. I'm sort of anxious tonight because my niece is in labor with her first child and may have to have a C-section. I "know" she and the baby will be fine, but I will be relieved to get the call saying all is well. If you see any plants on my list that you would like, do not hesitate to say so. I love to help new gardeners get started.
Jennifer... if you are like me, I don't know what just about any of these plants are....hehe.. but I and you and others will learn in time. Glad you are feeling better

If you don't know what some plants are - look it up in plant files -you can even open a new tab on you browser - so you don 't loose your place on the thread - That's what I did - a lot of plants have pictures
