I'm going up to Knoxville today. Closing on our new house tomorrow morning. Then I'll be up there through Wednesday getting repairs, etc done to the house.

Then Thursday I'm getting LASIK surgery. Then Friday I have a follow-up appointment to see the results of the LASIK. Friday afternoon I should be back online.

FYI - I'm also hoping to get our new server setup this weekend, so within a week from now we should be able to switch over to our new server! It'll be faster and more reliable.

I had lasik done over 18 months ago ; it will take a couple weeks for you to recover properly AND maybe even 1 - 2 years for your night vision to return to proper acuity . Good Luck !!:)

Well, I had the LASIK done yesterday. I spent the whole day sleeping and listening to the radio in a dark room.

This morning I awoke to find that I am now able to see things that I've never seen before. I'm going to the eye doctor today for a followup. I won't be surprised if he tells me that I have 20/20 vision - it sure feels like it.

I haven't tested the night vision yet, but so far I am happy as a clam! No more glasses, no more contacts for me!! :)

Just got back from the followup visit. My vision is at 20/16, and the doctor says that it should stay that way, except for some fluctuations during the next 2 months.
