Home page - how are lists different?

On the home page, I see too lists of posts. The first has a heading "you are watching 0 forums." The second has a heading "Latest posts to DG." They seem to have the same contents.... at least for the first 20 or 30 that I looked at. What's the difference?

Usually what shows up on your home page is the list of forums you watch, and then at the bottom there are the latest posts. If you don't have any forums you're watching though it could be what shows up instead is just a list of latest posts so you end up with it twice. If you start watching some forums you'll probably see that duplicate list disappear and be replaced by a list of the forums you're watching.
