The Ipomoea adenioides plant may be at least partially self-incompatible even though it originated from a seed...so,it might need another plant of the same species in order to cross fertilize adequately and produce seeds...

A., amidst all that pervasive bugginess, bringing this moonflower species so far along is quite an achievement. Looks like you've got quite a battle in achieving a habitat complex enough for a better predator-prey balance, given the mindless spraying going on in your vicinity. Imagining a moving chicken-tractor with a boggy rooftop garden of carnivorous plants...lol
