"DMail is missing" message

Hi Dave,

I have been getting this message the past few days whenever I reply to a DMail:


"The D-Mail is missing...

This D-Mail either never existed, or has been moved. Please check your inbox to find your messages."


If I then press the "Back Arrow" and "Send" it will seem to go through, but if I go back to the mail at a later stage, the message is actually "missing". I replied to two dmails yesterday, and only realized today that the message never reached the members I was replying to.

Don't know if it is on my side - haven't played around with the settings for agers.

Elsa, I checked the system logs and there is certainly a problem, and I suspect it may be on your computer's side.

The form to send a dmail reply is a "POST" form, but your browser is sending it as a "GET" form. That probably doesn't mean much to you, but it's a fundamental error that causes this to not work at all.

I see you are using Firefox 2.0.0.15. Have you done any significant customizations to this browser? It seems to me like it's possible that you made a change to it that is causing it to misbehave.

Have you considered upgrading and trying out Firefox 3.0.1? If there's a bug in your browser, it would likely be fixed by upgrading.

Dave, I upgraded, and then DH suggested that it had something to do with the proxy. He had it affecting some sites he visited - long story short, he changed my settings, and everything is working 100%. Thank you so much for all your trouble.
