wow, that was quick. Thanks bunches. I've always wondered how. Occasionally it's nice to reply to folks with the same emphasis on something.

If you ever come across the lily 'Brasilia' buy it! It literally changes color from the day it opens to the day it falls apart. The picture on the left was taken on the 31st, on the right today.

Beautiful pics as usual this am. Your garden must be amazing right now Celeste. All these DLs and lilies are wonderful. Coneflowers look very happy too. Love that picture perfect mushroom.
JoAnn your lilies and pots are very pretty and I'm glad you could get some shots of them to share. Your 'Purple Dome' looks a lot nicer than mine and is blooming much earlier too. Mine looks good from the top, nice green foliage but from the side, yuck, brown icky ankles. I hope when it starts blooming I will not notice the scruffy looking bits.

ngam!!
I had a fall aster at the old house.
It was so bright amongst the fall colors of other plants turning oranges and yellows of Hostas and the soft rose of the Sedum. It forms a dome of purpla flowers that obscure their brown leaved ankles, at least I hope these new ones do the same.

Schickenlady: I am guessing you don't like it?? I think it looks awesome like that.

Along with everyone else's catalogue / magazine worthy photos.

Nice photos, ladies. Guee you like Rosey Dawn, Celeste! It's nice. I love that false cypress, Shelly! How big does it get? Did they have many dwarf conifers? I like gaura a lot but it never returns. I am using it this year as an annual. Like David, I would like to know more about that groundcover.

Brockton, MA(Zone 6a)

Thanks for the new thread, Pixie.
This is my main flower bed, shot in late evening. Lots of stuff gets jammed in here. I have found Gladiola and Candy Lily don't like the tight quarters.
The cleome are all volunteers, they get yanked as the season wears on.
