Rose - You are so lucky to have such a crowd of birdies at your feeders. I get excited seeing just one ... I'd be in hummer heaven to see as many as you get! So cool!!! How close are you standing to them to take all those great photos? Do you wear a red hat?? Hee, hee...

Hi Becky...Thanks again...I always wear the same old khaki colored hat so maybe they are used to me. I think I was about 10 feet away...not sure but my lens goes out to 400mm so that is pretty close. They will sometimes pose for quite awhile and it is sure fun to watch and listen to them. For their size they are very noisy little birds!

I still have a mature male trying to keep the whole backyard to himself.

We had quite a storm last night and the Hummers are manic this AM! I can count over 30 just from where I am sitting and I am dizzy from watching them!
