Wow a purple! Another one I just can't live without!

No. San Diego Co., CA(Zone 10b)

Oh, that's pretty, Davie. Very different color.

Ventura, United States(Zone 10b)

It looks like your Samoan Fluff seedling will be white. Bummer but not surprising! My 'Muang Jack' ('Jack's Purple) flowered last winter. I can't remember the fragrance now, but it was indeed a nice color.

If that is a first flowering of that Samoan Fluff seedling, it can still change dramatically over the next two bloom cycles. Don't give up on it being something other than white in the end. After all, do we know who the daddy is?

Let's not forget the mother of the Moragne varieties was Daisy Wilcox....

Yuma, AZ

No we don't know who the father is, it's a bastard child...LOL Thanks for the encouragement Hetty...I will keep an eye on it.
Davie

Tucson, AZ

wow, davie! that once looked like it was a glorious tree. too bad they let it die. :-(

guillot sunset is definitely worth the wait. i have two. not by choice though. LOL

note to self: do not say 'want any' in jest on a forum full of newly addicted plumeria lovers - you are likely to be taken seriously.
You can find my excess plants generally available on the DG Marketplace.....

Rancho Cucamonga, CA

LOL, notice I edited my post!!?!?!!?

Yuma, AZ

Ya Dete the Guillots Sunset is awesome, I have a few myself...need to thin out the herd. The plumeria was the only thing alive...the rest of the landscaping was toast....a complete loss.
What I believe to be Hurricane...sent a cutting to Hetty in a trade...did yours bloom yet Hetty?

Hermisillo...be careful Dete, and enjoy your trip...and take lots of pictures.

Great Hetty, was hoping that would be the case.

Davie

Tucson, AZ

thanks davie. will do.

I wanted to add the Flames of the Sun to my have list but it's not out there (with photos). Can you please add to plant file?

Yuma, AZ

I don't know how...and I do not think it is registered by the PSA. Clare can you help? Please?

North of Atlanta, GA(Zone 8a)

Fruit salad is very pretty too. What does it smells like?

Ventura, United States(Zone 10b)

Sure. I'll go do it now, but the admin might have a hard time verifying it if they can't locate another source of it. Where did you get it, Davie?

Ventura, United States(Zone 10b)

Here's the link, Davie, if you want to upload pics: http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/175656/

North of Atlanta, GA(Zone 8a)

Thanks! I added it to my 'want' list.

Yuma, AZ

Lili Fruit Salad had a Sweet Plumeria Scent to it. It has large inflos with huge sets. The inflos last for months. I was lucky and had all three tips bloom for my at once this spring...it was beautiful.

Thanks for the help Clare...I do not know of anyone else that has this cultivar...it was a limited release from Thailand. I have been trying to get another one without any luck...unavailable.

Davie

North of Atlanta, GA(Zone 8a)

So I'm out of luck unless you are 'selling' later. :)

Ventura, United States(Zone 10b)

It's extraordinarily beautiful, Davie! Hang on to that one!

Yuma, AZ

Clare it gets special attention...it is my favorite...which means I wil probably kill it. LOL

Ventura, United States(Zone 10b)

LOL, Davie! You had better send me a cutting of it so that, if you kill it, I'll have it to give back to you! Seriously, I might have to find something to trade you for that one.

Yuma, AZ

Your on the list...it is too small to cut up now...next season.

North of Atlanta, GA(Zone 8a)

note to self...dbrooks said 'next season'. Very dangerous to post such thing with all these plumie addicts. :)

Yuma, AZ

Note to self...get chains and locks for Flames of the Sun.

Tucson, AZ

yeah, davie you have to watch out for some of these addicts...

North of Atlanta, GA(Zone 8a)

LOL!

Yuma, AZ

I just got a bigger dog, with bigger teeth!

Tucson, AZ

bigger teeth will not matter if it escorts you around the premises like the other dog did. nothing like having man's best friend as your tour guide through the plumeria grove. haha!

Yuma, AZ

Dete I asked you to keep that fact on the down low. LOL
