Marking a post so you can find it again?

(Laura) Olympia, WA(Zone 8a)

Is there a way to mark or flag a post so you can find it later, or tag a thread so you can note what you want from it?

I feel like I'm being a pest with how many questions I've had.

At the top of each thread is a "watch this thread" link. Click on it to watch any thread you want to keep up with.

When you click on your "Home" tab (or anywhere in the banner at the top), you'll get a summary of all your "watched" threads that have had a new post since you last visited.

I have that, what I was looking for is a way to remember where certain single posts are. Like a recipe I want to use later. But having a note to myself on the thread I think would work well enough.

You could also tag the thread in some way so that you can find it later ("read more about begonias!" or whatever) and mark it as a private tag. You can tag a thread by clicking the little file icon at the top right of each page. And you can get to your tag "cloud" through your member page.

I think that's what I'm looking for, I'll try it and get back to you.

If you want to tag a specific post with a thread click on the post#xxxxxxxx link in the left-hand column next to that post. Once the post is "expanded" the post, then click on the yellow folder in the upper right-hand corner and tag it with whatever description fits.

Perfect! Thanks again.
