My FIL pointed out this out to me about the DG articles. When you click "Print this article," which gives you a clean, printer-friendly version of the article, you lose the publication date at the top of the article. I think the date of original publication is useful information, especially if a student is printing out the article for future reference (helps with citations).
My printer puts the current date at the bottom of the page, but that's not the same thing unless I happen to be printing an article on its initial day of publication.
Is there a way to add the publication date to the top of the "printer friendly" page?
Thanks!
No date when using "Print this article" option
