well, my 12 y o son was home last night and playing with the baby chicks... then we had dinner (beef) and were discussing the fact the he doesnt eat eggs cause he saw a duck hatch a duckling when he was little...hasnt really been able to get over the 'babies' in an egg issue since then ~ even tho we visited sis and she explained the difference between a fertilized egg and eating egg~ well, he announced at dinner last night that he would not be eating chicken EVER again....
I just laughed and said 'no, we'll just leave the cows and pigs for you to eat!' well, his favorite food is beef & chicken...so he just kinda looked at me and then caved in....said he wouldnt eat anything with a name! lol!
maybe someday he will try eating eggs again? hasnt eaten them since he was 4 y o ! lol!
lol thats wat i liv by i dont eat anything that has a name i tried the whole vegetarian thing but i lik meat to much to stop eating it so i compremised :)
lol, my DD says she s a vegetarian.... but she will eat sausage, hot dogs and chicken... ??!
I've tried to explain to her what is IN the hotdogs and sausage...tee hee...but she wont listen to me! lol! BTW I'm NOT a vegetarian! lol!
