Nope, not with this group!! LOL
I love it!! This is like a vacation, taking in all the sights! What fun! Anxious to hear how the zoo trip goes (I watch the same movies) and now we can check out the Canadian trip too. Staynot seems to be making friends wherever he goes, there's a couple here that are waiting for him to visit.
Nice shots with Staynot, you are showing him parts of the Woodlands that I never saw when I lived in Houston. I noticed that there is a lot of damage on the 'dreamer' statue, hope they don't let it go too far; it is georgeous!
I was a bit worried when he allowed the dragon to get so close, but he is a good judge of character it seems.
Well we didnt make the zoo today, DH had his first day off in 2 weeks so he didnt want to get up early to head out to the zoo, and going in the afternoon is pointless, the animals are so hot they just hang out in their caves. But we are going to go tomorrow!! Early!!
Well we made it to the zoo today! It was still incredubly hot, and I wanted to get to some of the parks, but the heat just zapped us. Staynot did enjoy making some friends though! Here he is with one of the volunteers at the Elephant habitat
And a very hot tired goat!
But his favorite was the orangutan. I missed the pic where the orangutan was looking right at Staynot, I think he was intrigued by his tiny size. Staynot was pretty upset that I missed that shot, he really liked this big guy!
And of course he had to ride the carousel with the kids! All in all a very good day!!
I'm glad the goat didn't eat Staynot's flowers!
LOL we had a keeper standing by for just that reason LOL. Didnt want Staynot to become Goat munchies!!
Oh I wish I could have gone to the zoo also. What a wonderful day for all!!!

BTW, Orangutan means Man of the Jungle in my mother's native language, that is Malay.
When Dad brought us kids to a Malaysian zoo, there was this Orangutan that wanted some of my ice cream. His hands poked thru' the bars, begging for some, when I turned my head away, he spat at me!!!
Looks like your Orangutan is behind glass..if not he'll be able to snatch Staynot!
Yes this particular Orangutan is very friendly and he seems to love children. He always come to the glass for little kids. I even have pictures of Sterling when she was about 5 kissing him and him kissing her through the glass (gross I know but she lived to tell about it LOL) This guy is actually a Bornean./Sumatran hybid born right there at the zoo many years ago. I remember when he was a juvenile about 25 years ago.
Hope they find him a mate.

Well before bed Staynot noticed we had a dart cabinet and asked to play a game of Cricket. Luckily I happened to have some Gnome sized darts (you can jst see them in the picture). He's quite the little dart shark, so the rest of y'all beware!!
What a fun time for Staynot! Isn't it wonderful that wherever he goes, he makes people smile.

Well Staynot had kind of a quiet day yesterday. He hung out and talked plants with Bailey
Bailey was bragging that he knew this Marigold when he was just this big!
He aslo helped me at my very messy craft table today! What are you making Staynot??
Today he went to Smith & Hawkins and helped me pick out some new gloves, he also took time to talk to a nice bunny under a toadstool
Yeah....Bailey's been hangin' round DG too much!
