A Pirate Ship!! What fun, wish I could go along. I love those tall ships, got to see them once in Redondo Beach, CA. Don't remember the occassion, but there were several that came in. Made quite a sight.
Staynot Gladomeer (Thread 3)
I just got home from the dentist and guess who was waiting for me?
Staynot arrived just in time to sample the fresh baked chocolate chip cookies my daughter made! He might be a little heavier on the next leg of his journey!
Oh I smell them!!! Take care of him and his Dad can take him to the gym when he returns home. Our job is to spoil him.
Yay, glad to see Staynot has arrived safely and is enjoying chocolate chip cookies, what a lucky guy. Have fun!
Like you said he is going to be a porker by the time he gets home. Can't say much about that though as I am a little fluffy myself. I am going to make him some fried chicken and mashed tater and greenbeans and one of my favorites choc. pudding. There go a few more pounds. Like I said earlier he will be here around the holidays so there may be a lot of fruit my favorite and Turkey. Poor little Staynot someone send pepto with him.
Now that it won't be long before Staynot comes over to visit, I've got to prepare! After his Texas visit, he'll be off to Oregon, and then to me in steamy south Florida. He'd better be packing his jungle gear!
Well makshi, i'm second to last on the list, I'll let him use my home gym to get him in shape before returning!
Mrs Ed that is great so maybe he won't have to roll around when he gets home.
oh wait! I'm right before you. LOL. Well, I'll make him work extra hard before he goes off to you!!
He will be treated to a little TX-mex when he visits me. He maybe packing pounds by the time he gets home.
Make him help with the butterflies. Send him out Cat collecting, that will get him some exercise.
Well he'll get biscuits and cane syrup here so someone after me had their job cut out for them!! Or do we call him Staynot, the Roly Poly?
Well Statnot got a garden tour this morning, riding in style in his own coach with a very cute footman too! Of course I snapped this pic in front of the one dead arborvitae out of a row of 15 LOL

And one more just enjoying the verbena! He gave me a pretty hard time about the weeds, but with rain almost every day and temps in the 90s its just a fact of life LOL

Looks like Staynot has settled right in. I like the Texas birdhouse, and what a sweet footman- a real cutie pie!
LOL no crawfish yet Jaye. We took him out to visit some of the sculptures that are evereywhere around here but a little strom blew through, so maybe today since the dentist called and set my appointment back a couple of days.
Tomorrow we are headed to the zoo, and maybe a couple of parks.
while staynot has been enjoying fine dining and contemplating wrangling crawfish Dave and Bullwinkle have started their Canadian adventure in Butchart garden where a boar drooled on them. That is the oddest fountain I have seen in a while!
Well Staynot help me run errands today and got a little tour of The Woodland's statues. Here is one of my favorites it's called Children at Play
And then he visited The Dreamer which is my absolute favorite!!
Then we stopped by the litte farmer's market for some Texas Peaches!
And we met a Zucchini artist! Isn't it cute! And the biggest darn zucchini you have ever seen!!

Whew fortunately its the friendly Lake Woodlands dragon, and Staynot speaks fluent Dragon, they became very good friends!
And this is security guards Texas style! These guys patrol the parking lot at the mall and Walmart. And they love posing for pictures!!
We just beat the aftenoon storms home, so will probably take it easy the rest of the day...tomorrow, The Houston Zoo!

Hmm I don't know, maybe we will find out at the reptile house tomorrow! Are dragons considered reptiles??

Oh my Jojo--neat adventures today. Maybe it was a "she" dragon and she was flirting with Staynot--possible? Is there a story behind the Children at Play? I recall seeing something like that years back and some special reason for the statue. Do you know?
LOL I just heard Eddie Murphy say "Oh your a Giiirrrl Dragon!!" I can see little short bearded dragons swimming around Lake Woodlands LOL.
I don't know about the story behind Children at Play. It was dedicated in 1984, but I can look into it. There is a Statues of the Woodlands guide somewhere online. I'll look it up!
