I believe the coloration of Boogie Woogie is influenced by climate, temperature and soil

I guess I am not going to get buds on my African Queen, bought the bulbs on Mother's Day. But here is my Stargazer. The deer/rabbit (whatever ate it) spared me 2 buds out of 15!!!

Here's the dark, sultry red Oriental that made me gasp. I think its Sumatra

hee hee! Glad I'm not the only one that likes to photograph their feet. :D
I can hardly wait for the Orientals to get going. Sigh...

I thought I remembered that 'Sumatra' became unavailable in the co-op and the replacement was 'Rio Negro'. That one doesn't look like either to me. Hmmmm.

Oh, you're right! I just looked on the packing list, and it may be Dynamite, rather than Sumatra.

gosh... get busy elsewhere and miss all these glorious photos! I did a speed scan
and am simply stunned by all the beautiful photos of lilies. I'll have to come back
and read more carefully when I have more time. (hmmm... not sure when that'll happen.LOL)
