Today's Weather in Your Garden - 24

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

It looked from the pics to be a lot of work and now that you explained it seems like even more work, wow.

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

just came back from a run and i can tell everyone with certainty it is hot.

victor sorry to hear of your loss.

Donniebrook your home looks great! Everytime i see your name i think of a bench clearing hockey brawl.

Thomaston, CT

It is 83 & sticky----spent an hour and a half weeding this morning--slowly making a dent--garden is still muddy, but I've got to do something. Laurel--your recipes for cabbage sound great----we do a lot of slaw, but I do make stuffed cabbage, using chili sauce & grape jelly to bake them in. Not today, however, unless I turn the A/C on, but that's a last resort--would rather use the fans!

Southwest , NH(Zone 5b)

wha - running in this heat???? Oh MY!!!!! Re: your take on my DG name......that's exactly what you should think of!!! LOL It has been a bench-clearing chaotic way of life here lately! Today it was so quiet, I thought it was wierd....but I'll get used to it again!

Jen - yes, it was a lot of work. I'm glad it's done!

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Well it hit 89 in my little town today which is sitting by a Lake. It was 92-94 in the City and I don't do the 90's very well unless I am submerged up to my chin in water. I did my what I had to do in town... then booggied back to the Country coolness.
Tomorrow is more of the same but we will hit 90 out here in the Country....I won't be going to town tomorrow!

Thanks everyone! Oryanna is smiling even as hot as it's been and she has a little heat rash. Can you believe all those rolls are from breast milk only? LOL Tiffany just recently started her on some solids and Ory's loving it....especially blueberry-applesauce!

Way too hot, way too humid, and why did I wear a long-sleeved black silk shirt to work today???

Thomaston, CT

Today was 88 & very humid--another 2 hrs. in the veggie garden this morning--art class in the A/C this pm---nice breeze is blowing here now, but when the sun goes down, I'm afraid it's A/C time! Pixie---Ory is a doll--who dresses her in those cute outfits?
