Odd tab

Frequently, the last tab on the right doesn't fill in with the correct image. Always that tab. It'll do it for a few pages then it'll be fine. Just looks odd and something I have noticed. Doesn't hurt anything.

What browser are you using? I've never had that happen either now with Safari or previously on my PC with IE6 or Firefox.

Firefox. I refreshed the page and all is well. But it will do it again, not always the same pic either. It's like it fetches the wrong pic and continues to think that's ok to display. Even if the pic changes behind it on a different forum. As long as I click pages on DG it stays there until I happen to refresh one I'm looking at or close and reopen. It's doing it now. Different pic this time. EDIT: No it's the same pic only clearer or not so pixelley looking. Looks like clumps of yellow flowers.

I've had that too for some time now. I use Firefox.

Well then, looks like we've ALL lost our minds! Or else we are all related! I use Firefox also. Wouldn't use anything else.

I got curious...:) This time it's red so I know it's a different image.

It's title in the url ending is "aboutus-off.gif" Very strange.

Well that is supposed to be the 'About Us' tab. So I guess when it's 'off' you get a photo instead.

I'm fixing to test it and refresh the page to hope for the correct tab and see what it's called when I look at the image. BRB

I use Firefox too, and boo hoo, I don't get any odd tabs. Maybe you are 'special'!

How about if you hold down the shift key, and while holding it down, click on the refresh icon on your browser.

That gets rid of it - at least temporarily, but why does it happen to begin with??

I don't know why it happened, it's very strange, actually. I would have thought it was a problem with your browser, except multiple people reported it. All I did was re-upload the same image to the server (the tab) and asked you to refresh to be sure you were seeing the new image.

I think this'll go into the "Unsolved Mysteries" file of my filing cabinet.

Nope three g's it starts on the opening main page when I get here and stays on all forums that have that tab. It's different again... looks like a white flower squashed right now.

It is. I just viewed and saved the image.

When you see the strange image, please right-click and click on "View Image".

Then copy and paste the address that comes up for the image into this thread.

maidentheshade, so if you go to that link, you see something other than an about us tab? What if you shift-refresh while you're looking at it?

Right this minute it is working and I see the About Us button.

When I posted it I saw something different. Until I refreshed, then it was the About Us tab just like it's supposed to be. All those flowers and pepper pictures I posted were what I would see when I right clicked and viewed image.

Next time you see, do the right-click and view image, then shift-refresh and let me know if it stays the same way, or if it reverts back to the correct tab image. I appreciate your help tracking this down!

I'll do the same Dave, as I too have this recurring problem.
