Not always getting a 'search' button?

Hi- new here- I notice that as I navigate around there seems to be no way for me to search on certain pages. It just says 'search DG' with a box to type in what I would like to search. Other times the box is there and I can search by hitting the ( :search ____ :) I know I'm a subscriber and signed in. Any ideas? Thanks in advance...

If there's no button, you just type what you want in the box and hit the enter key on your keyboard. There used to not be a button on any of those search boxes but people were confused so Dave put them in, but I guess maybe there were a few places that didn't get changed.

thanks ecrane3- actually they are there sometimes, and sometimes not..very strange-will use your suggestion-HAGD

If you're on the main "Home" page, or in the main/general area of any tab, you'll get the "search DG" box.

If you are "deeper" in the site (within the forums, the GWD, PlantFiles, etc.), then you'll have a more specific search.

yes Terry thanks, its all coming to me now..Im not as computer savvy as I let on to my kids..should have asked them..the enter key is working great...
