LOL nice smile and likes plants...thats rarer than a gnome LOL
Staynot Gladomeer (Thread 2)
Is it to late to join in??
Staynot is having such a wonderful time and it's going to be such a long time before he visits me :-(. Glad he got to Philly, I saw some of the city where my relative's live. Used to work in FL sometimes, never been to South Venice though.
Aahhh what a lucky lad....
Wow I'm packing myself in with Staynot LOL. That is beautiful!!
I am so sorry I didn't get to met Staynot. Was telling my sister about him and that he was in Venice--she wanted to know if we were going to meet him. Should have made arrangements. What beach?
There was rain headed your way today as DD and I passed through it in Bradenton about 1ish. Heavy downpour just north of Tampa!
Will post pictures of Alaska soon. Can't find my camera now.
Hey Marion!!! : )
Hello Kim, even managed to introduce Alaska to my sister's goats!!
He will be gray before I see him. LOL How big is he?
Gnomes don't turn gray! Or do they? Hummm have to check that out. Would you believe I found a Gnome book that was given to my son atleast 25 years ago, still available I see, and I am reading it. It is really fun now that I have got "bitten" by the bug. I can't wait to have Staynot come visit me.
Nice pendant.
I hope he doesn't get lost coming to my house.
I have plans for Staynot.
Gnomes have built in GPS so he won't get lost. Just open your door at the base of your old tree and he will find his way there.
My tree has a face and will see him coming and open the door for him. If it gets cold before he gets here I will have hot soup and rolls waiting and shhh maybe a hot toddy. :) Well at least hot coffee..
That's allowed by all means--well I think it is. Dad, can he have a toddy if it is cold?
I should think so, just don't give him all of my Bailey's!!
I will get him his own little bottle. I am not sure how to make it but I am sure I can find out before he gets here.
Oh my, we need to find our own recipe for Bailey's but of course we can't call it that. Don't worry I have a bottle hidden from Audrey--I will share with Staynot.
I'll share, I just don't want him to get it all!
Oh what a beautiful picture Beth.....I Love sunsets ;o)
Why don't you advertise for a lady friend? It could say: A handsome vertically challenged, horizontally enhanced hard working man in search of life's greater joys. Would like to share those joys. Are you the one?
abbisgranma you're naughty. Tee hee I luv it.
Staynot looks as though he is really enjoying his trip. Do we need to advertise for him a lady friend?
Hi abbisgrandma, sorry you weren't able to make it to Venice!
I did see Staynot watching some of the ladies on the beach, but he was a little shy. We'll go back to the beach Wednesday night, and that's his last night, so maybe he'll work up some courage to chat with the ladies! It's all good practice until he meets the right gnomess!
Good idea! My sister really was disappointed I didn't make arrangements. I never know when I go down what is happening with my Mom (89) so I am hesitant to schedule anything.
Tell him careful of the ones in bikinis.
I just wanted to say you guys are a lot of fun. I'm sure Staynot will not want to come home after all his adventures.
What's wrong with bikins???
Oh nothing other than I can't wear them. Just thinking about poor little Staynot. Sweet, innocent guy that he is! But then maybe he is old enough to learn the ways of the world. BTW, Dad, last time I checked I think I was a gal!!! LOL
I have never worn one...was way too skinny...now way too fluffy ;0)
Me neither but did wear a maternity bathing suit much to the distress of my grandfather!!! Oh well, he survived!
ROFLMBO!!! Oh that picture is priceless...look at those light blockers!! Too cute ;o)
shadowpaige, thanks for starting Staynot's adventures, this has been a lot of fun!
He is going to be a very well traveled gnome by the time he heads back to Birmingham!
You can never be to careful with this Florida sun!!! Thanks for thinking of Staynots safety. We all want him healthy when he arrives at our homes.
