OMG, Celeste!
It looks like a chocolate sundae with marshmallow!!!
Simply scrumptious!
ohhhh myyyy.... I may have to try for that. Darn it Pixie!
Candyce, I think your allium is Allium oreophilum http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/51522/ Mine did not return from 2006.
Pixie, no Stairway to Heaven ordered either. But I am pretty sure that it looks like Edith Wolford. Here is another picture. I looked at those ebay ones and put the first two in my "wanted" file. I planted Huckleberry Fudge last fall. It hasn't bloomed yet. Thanks. Love your help. How are you on red iris id's? I have my list of plants bought and I have pictures to match. Patti
Celeste, that last one should be called 'S'more'.
Patti:
Thanks for the link to the PlantFiles. This little allium we have is only about three inches tall, and it has just two 'leaves' that form into a pretty heat-shaped frame for the bloom. It would be nice to get an ID, but it's not necessary. Anna and I both think that it's simply adorable.
Patti,
Only have one red iris.."Lady Friend" and she didn't bloom this year. Sorry!
Candyce, mine were only 3 to 4 inches high. Check this from Brent and Becky and see if it looks like theirs. Patti

nice pictures everyone - Venu like the clem galore - i just planted one so it was good to see.
Me too Venu.....can't wait to see "Princess Diana" all the way open!
Patti: I also love the verigates although it can get to be too much of a good thing.
My Lollipops are going to bloom in about a week, I love that lily and have it in a container and many more in a nursery.
Bill - Galore is Vesuvius, the dark one I have on the gold barberry.
really i had forgotten it was galore - I planted mine to grow on a - tall obelisk or trellis (brain cramp) at the opposite end of a long bed that has a white clem that is also a 3 that i can't remember the name of. small white flowers. they should look like good bookends.
Have not found a gold/yellow bush to grow one into yet.
There was no alot of research when i ordered from Debbie. After Franzika Maria i just scanned the clem's and picked three I liked. In fact I geave her license to change my order if she thought there was better choices.
thank's for the Mock Orange - you just id'd mine for me. Do you trim this much?
old fashion is what my is
Hi Bill, DH usually trims it every year but this baby hasn't seen the shears in 5 years since DH got hurt.
Victor just how many JM's do you have? I was on the JM page and someone asks suggestions about linear leaf varieties. a guy recommends koto no ito and villa taranto. when i check the links who do you think has pics of both of these listed. 1/2 acre????
You've always looked pretty buff to me, Celeste...
Mine mock orange will get the shears for the first time in 9 years as soon as the flowers are gone.
