How nice of y'all to cede South Carolina to us Canadians :-)

Blyth, ON(Zone 5b)

Go to the member list http://davesgarden.com/community/memberlist/ and scroll down to "Browse by Canadian Province".

We'd be very happy to keep it, but I suspect you're gonna want it back :-)

North Augusta, ON

oooo...no snow and our health care would remain intact...let's keep it!!!

Seale, AL(Zone 8b)

Took me a minute to find it, but Hahahah that is just too funny. Wonder what somebody was thinking when they typed that in there.

yep I definately think we need it back. : )

(Zone 1)

Oh, now that's cute! I have always wanted to visit Canada ... can someone give me directions to that province?

^_^

Ginnylynn & 3G ... are y'all sure you want the heat and humidity?

North Augusta, ON

Maybe not now, but it sure would be nice come February...

Tuscaloosa, AL(Zone 7b)

Reminds me of when my daughter was working for Blue Cross and one of her co-workers told a fellow who had been to a doctor in New Mexico that he would have to fill out special forms for receiving treatment in a foreign country. She also told him he would have to get the paperwork translated into English. LOL.

I suspect there's some member out there who is in South Carolina but accidentally chose Canada as their country and that's why it shows up that way. Or someone who's in Canada but accidentally chose SC instead of whatever province they're in. I don't think there's an accuracy checker on the state/province and country dropdown lists in the preferences so you can choose a state/province and a country that don't match each other.

North Augusta, ON

hmmm...I'm gonna go scoop Hawaii.

(Zone 1)

LOL, Karen! Somehow that doesn't surprise me one bit though. ^_^ There are many who don't have a clue when it comes to geography. I remember 38 years ago when my husband was in the military, on an aircraft carrier over in the Mediterranean Sea and a friends husband was in the merchant marines on a ship down in the Caribbean. She said maybe they would be able to get together since they were both in the same area. I told her no, the Mediterranean Sea and Caribbean Ocean were not close together. She kept insisting they were not far from each other ... I had to get a map to show her how far apart they actually were and I still don't think she believed me! LOL.

(Zone 1)

I think ecrane3 nailed it. I bet someone meant to type BC instead of SC.

North Augusta, ON

I wonder how long it takes to kick in...

Dublin, CA(Zone 9a)

It's showing you in Hawaii now...are you on the beach enjoying a Mai Tai?

North Augusta, ON

I am, and those nice trade winds.

Dublin, CA(Zone 9a)

I have a feeling the list of members by state/province probably doesn't update constantly, I don't know if it would be a daily update or a weekly update so you may have to stay there for a little while before it shows up on the list. That would be a bummer if you had to hang out there for a week or two, wouldn't it! LOL

North Augusta, ON

It would be such a shame...but I think I'd survive...

(pass me another Mai Tai please)

(Zone 1)

Ok ... Now, I'm lost and confused! I just noticed it showing 3G in Hawaii - you staying through the winter?

North Augusta, ON

It worked, Canada has Hawaii now too...LOL

North Augusta, ON

I'll stay there at least until this heat wave passes...

Northern California, United States(Zone 9a)

Looking at the first page of the member list, there is a member named skytt, from Copenhagen, Denmark, but it has Hawaii listed as well so she must have clicked something wrong.

North Augusta, ON

Well, I gave Hawaii back, it was a really nice visit but home is here ^_^

Seale, AL(Zone 8b)

LOL... What a cheap way to a vacation to all those places ya dreamof, but know ya can't afford. : )

Blyth, ON(Zone 5b)

Mornin' all. LOL I never thought of annexing Hawaii like that! I love Sedona - maybe I should try for Arizona.

I love heat whether it's humid or dry. I'm a summer child through and through.

Hmmm. Directions to the state of Canada: Well, ya head up the road north a piece until ya come to where the old stone schoolhouse used ta be - it's not there anymore as it burnt down in '45. Anyway, turn there and look for the Baker farm - he grows sunflowers ya know but they won't be up yet. If'n ya go a fair piece past to the 16th Line - you'll have to watch closely fer it as the sign blowed off in that last storm - and turn again ya should be on yer way to us :-)

North Augusta, ON

LOL

(Zone 1)

I'm on my way! Especially if the weather is different than the 90+ degree heat and high humidity that we have been having for over a month down here!

I'm usually pretty good at directions and not getting lost ... straight shot north should be a piece of cake! LOL.

Ottawa, ON(Zone 5a)

Having been in Arizona last week, I don't think we really want it except in winter. Too hot and dry. Could never grow my Hostas there. LOL

Crossville, TN

Give me "hot and dry" over "hot and humid" any time!! LOL Jo

Charleston, SC(Zone 9a)

ROTF! I have really enjoyed this thread.

Ginny and 3G, thanks for welcoming us into the country! It's such a beautiful place. : )

For a minute there I was afraid we had ticked off the rest of the states [again]. Whew, but I see we have dual citizenship. Cool.

It is very nice here in winter [and ONLY in winter]. Unfortunately, here winter is Jan15-Feb15. I usually have the AC running on Jan1 here in my little corner of Canada.

SC, Canada. Good one!

Blyth, ON(Zone 5b)

LOL I'm glad we brought some humour to your day :-)
