Preparation
LOL I enjoyed the story. But for me preparation seems to be all about getting the garden ready for the next person to enjoy after I move. Build beds, compost, plant, move before anything gets a chance to grow...
Zanymuse.....(love the nickname by the way).....Happy you enjoyed the story, but I have given your dilemma much thought, I've consulted with other experts in the field also, and we've come to one inescapable conclusion....DON'T MOVE......:)
and Zanymuse, thanks for taking the time to write, I appreciate it...

Well, Paul, since there are a good 24 hours in a day, and since electricity and solar lights and torches and flashlights have done been invented, sounds to me like you could do both, beings as how those 24 hours can stretch out mighty far, if you are so inclined.
It also seems to me that you could get your priorities straight and write for 23 of those hours, then maybe mulch, and sharpen, and move stuff during the other one. Give yourself a doze break about ever 3 or 5 hours, keeping them to a minimum. Just keep a pitcher of sweet tea handy.
Pudding rocks? Yeah, I keep those handy.
Nice story....by the way. as always, my friend.

Sharran....I divided a Shata daisy in the dark once.....I ended up with 4 daisies and one finger missing......:)
Naps?.....Ah I love naps, don't take'en enough for sure, but oh joy I love'em........
Sweet Tea?....The elixir of life........:)
Thanks Sharran.....going to help mother unload the groceries.....bbiab
Hmmm...good advice...DON'T MOVE! LOL next time the owner decides to sell a house out from under us or move his mother in I'll just tell them we go with the house! Heck, I inheireted an old lady that way once and loved it.
Sitting here Paul laughing and shaking my head..I can't think of anyone who has such a way with words, makes you want to start giggling before you know what is coming next...
Sleep is much overated is it not? lol
I'll certainly be one waiting to read the write up on your visit with Bubba...
OK I got time to say something here.......I got half the groceries out of the car, the ice cream I got first.....I got turkey burger cooking....so I got all the time in the world to chat......:)
Zanymuse, remember experts gave me that advice....the experts that hangout at the gasoline station where I fill up my Jeep and mortgage my house now......:)
OK new advice from the experts, they tell me, rent a house from an owner whose mother is happily living in Miami.......so if you don't live in Miami, hey I solved your problem again.....Zany, what did you do before you met me?....it was hard I know......:)
Betty....thanks, I like to giggle and hope folks giggle with me...that simple.....
sleep? overated? I plan on doing a lot of it in Heaven......:)
Bubba and I are thinking of running for President, co-presidents on an independent ticket......Our motto? $2 a gallon gas or bust....OK $3......$4?.....Our motto keeps changing as the price goes up....we might have to rethink our motto Bubba.....:)

I thank you and the gas station experts for the sage advice. I'll get busy with the Miami phone book immediately and track down a Mother who has a son that is renting houses in my area. After all, the gas station guys advice is not to be ignored!
You know I was just joking but the more I think about it...well if that happened to me I'd be well I'd be mighty dissapointed.....hope that don't happen to you again.....
Paul from Alabama
You were joking? Oh dear, and I have already run the phone bill up getting through the A's in the Miami phone book. I's amazing how rude some of those little ole ladies in Miami can be when you interupt their golf game... ;~)
Too cute...
