I will start with the people so we can know who is who.
This sweetheart is Jordin, T.J.'s daughter with her prize, she is such a doll.

This handsome young man is Robert, Dawn's son.

His lovely Mom Dawn, she is so sweet.

This is Becky, our new member from east Texas, she is a lot of fun and a lovely lady, she fits right in.

Here is Lynea, also from east Texas, I think she is 6 feet tall, and so lovely too.

Lynne she is from Houston, very nice lady.

My dear husband Frank, such a nice guy, and a good helper too.

Here is Becky again picking up the prize for her husband.

And dear Phyllis, from east Texas she is so adorable.

And little old me with my prize a lovely book.

Great Job Josephine. In addition to knowing the plants names, you also remember all of the names that match the faces. Wonderful!!

Being a member of Dave's Garden is a lot of fun

This is the picture of the Community Center, very nice place that used to be a school. With a full kitchen and air conditioned dining room.

We decide that a hug is better than talking.

After the wonderful lunch we went to Charlene's place where she had picked and saved wildflowers for us to take home and plant.
Then we went on the hayless ride. Some people were chicken and didn't come along, but we had to see the woods and the cows, those cows sure were cute, you can tell that they are handled with loving care.
Here we are, it was very hot and bumpy, but we has fun laughing at each other.

We found many neat plants in the woods, especially Yaupon Holly and Beauty Berry were very abundant.
Frank took this picture of a beautiful Dragonfly, by the creek, there were hundreds of them in many colors.

After that, we went back to the center to load up and clean up.
It was a wonderful day, and so good to see old friends and meet new ones.

Wasn't it hot ??? but then we are in Texas..lol ...yes we look like a happy bunch... I know I was.

I was happy to help in digging the wild flowers and hope everyone who got some enjoy them half as much as Charlene and I had digging them!!

I'm going to find and post that squash pickle recipe before I forget again...lol

I potted mine yesterday and they look really good. I am very excited about having the Farkleberry and the Parsley Hawthorn, and also all the other special plants i received from all the kind people.
