How do I get the link to show up in my journal on a specific plant to the same plant in PlantFiles? I noticed it's there for some of my journal entries, but not all. If I already have the jounal entry established, I don't know how to do it. Sometimes I start a new entry from PlantFiles where it says "add this plant to your journal".

If you already made the entry in your journal and don't want to re-do it, then the only way to have a link to Plant Files is to copy and paste it into an entry in the journal. If you want it like it is when you do the "add this plant to your journal", then you have to make the entry again but create it from Plant Files using that link. There is a bug though in the adding from Plant Files--if the plant does not have a species name listed (as is the case with a number of hybrid cultivars) then even if you add it through Plant Files it won't create the link.

Thank you ecrane! Now why didn't I think of that? I'm fine with pasting a link in a journal entry. Just so long as its there. Also thanks for the heads up about files without species names.
