Just curious if anyone would like to play a game. We could start with simple rules of:
You keep it for one weeks.
Must take a picture of the Gnome in your garden.
Sign a piece of paper with small note and place inside of Gnome.
Post Picture and send the little guy to the next person.
Keep in mind we should keep all address off of this forum and just between the person who has it and the person who needs it.
What do you guys think?
ps. The Gnome I will be sending likes Tropicals and other Gnomes.....

Anyone want to play "Traveling Garden Gnome"
This was being done when I joined years ago. The Gnome got to Yadkinville, NC and fell off the face of the earth. All of us were having so much fun with it and seeing where it went.
I bad egg spoiled the fun.

Send me your address over d-mail and I'll send you the little guy. You keep for a week or two and then send to svplantingfool. We can go from there and others can join in as we play this summer.
I want in if you all are gonna do it also. We did have fun with Hinkle I think was his name. He went to Disney World and some festivals and met a governor. Wish I could find the thread it was on I would bring it to the top for you all to see.
I can take him on a Ferry Ride.

You can put me on the list; I have a gnome that swings on a swing and would love to meet Staynot, although it'll be tough getting our gnome off that swing!
I participated in the gnome travels earlier. Fette was my guest and I had a ball photographing him. Staynot looks like a very young gnome, hopefully he won't get homesick along the way. I am sure it will be his first time away from home.

I just read about Henk and was so involved in his travels that I must join this time. I've always loved gnomes, have 3 large ones in my flower garden. I need some smaller ones now, and having one come to visit would just "make my day". So, add me to the list, hoping his visit here will be enjoyable.

Don't forget Fette!! Even though he didn't start from your house he was traveling at the same time. I was dissappointed about Henk, he was due to come my way soon after his dissapearance. :-(
Hopefully you can get the travel photo/ notes book back. It was going along with him from what I remember!!!

I would like to play too and have him meet my other gnomes! This is my old guy from my grandmother. Two weeks with 13 others he will be here in the winter..not sure he will like the cold. Maybe he could have short visits (1 week?) so he can see more of the USA in the nicer weather... just a thought!
I participated in one of these where the "traveler" went to Australia and never came back. It was so disappointing! Please have everyone be sure to mail him with that tracking number, it's costs just a little more.

Bea, it may be that the two weeks include time for shipping also? I know some places it took a long time to arrive. If we only keep him for as long as we need to (spec. event on weekend, etc.) then those that are waiting can get him earlier. We would always dmail ShadowPaige when he arrived for our visit, and she could send the next person's info.
What do you think Paige....others???
I agree. It is only like 60 cents for tracking.
We had talked about keeping Staynot for two weeks each but I'm open for sugestions on that. We could say one week plus shipping which would be like a week and half total between people.
Thats fine with me. That way I'll know who has him and I can change the top post to show.
