new humorous writer

Desoto, TX(Zone 8a)

Always enjoy the articles everyday and learn something. However, we have a new subscriber, PaulFromAL. Sooo funny and inspiring. Please read the history first and then the other articles. Paul needs more exposure. Possibly publication somewhere. Check it out.

Actually, we have two writers that should have more exposure...Lourspolaire has a great flair.

Can't find any articles by either of these people. Can you give links? Thanks!

They are on numerous sites. Just go to their homepage and then to threads they have started. Mainly find Lourspolaire on the Tropical Zone and Tropical Plants. Paul is everywhere but try the Texas forum.

I agree with this! I haven't read much by PaulfromAl, but what I have read has been quite funny and at times bordering on hilarious. I wish that my sense of humor was as quick as his.

Thanks! I thought they had written articles for the newsletter.

They should. Maybe Dave will take notice. Only I would want Paul to have an article every single day.

If they're interested in writing, they can dmail Dave and see if he still needs people or not. It was a while ago that he sent out the call for writers though so it's very possible the writer pool is full at the moment, but if there are any spots open that's the way to get in.

As far as I know, Dave is always interested in additional writers! We have up to 6 slots per day available for articles, and as you can see we sometimes only fill 2 or 3.

I joined DG a few weeks ago. I came across one of PaulfromAl stories on the first day, and have been hooked ever since. I truly enjoy his humor and writing style, and I look for his new posts each day. He posts in multiple forums (Mid-South, Texas, Georgia, and sometimes in specifics like Roses, Propagation, etc...) I think more and more folks are stumbling across the posts, and then, like me, start looking for them each day. I think the article idea is great for broader exposure to Paul's wonderful wit :-) terri

Paul not only writes funny stories, but is willing to have "fun" in all the forums where he posts. Some of those conversations are funny, too.

Like the others that have posted on this thread, I also look forward to finding a "new" entry from PaulfromAl.

Right on Bubba and all........Al will put a little sunshine in everbody's day, and a good belly laugh and the warm and fuzzies. What more could you want.

Paul is a very talented writer, gardener, photograper, and who knows what else. I first saw him in Coneflowers a few weeks ago and enjoyed his web site. His style is friendly and his stories are humorous and touching, without being sappy. I would enjoy reading articles by him. I don't know Lourspolaire, but will look for him or her on the tropicals forum.
