Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Very pretty, Harper. I think that was right over my house! 65 and breezy. Perfect day!!!

Jersey Shore, NJ(Zone 7a)

What a gorgeous day today. There was still a bit of a breeze today , but compared to yesterday it was tame. Too bad I was working today but I did cut the grass when I got home. I'm off tomorrow though and the forecast looks good. GARDENING ALERT.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Yes it was. Hot sun, cool breeze. Great for working and I did plenty. Would have done much more but my son slows me down. Was bummed to find some of my moss hanging baskets in very poor shape. I will cut down the number I use this year and buy new ones for next year. I'll put the annuals planned for them elsewhere.

Southern Dutchess Co, NY(Zone 5b)

I agree, this was a perfect gardening day, and tomorrow should be even nicer! It was still breezy and we were at 69 degrees, but oh! how sweet it was! I got some lingering projects done and will work on some of the others tomorrow. On Thursday the screen goes on the storm door, either before or after we help the college student move out of his dorm. We get to move him into the house he'll be renting with some other students at the beginning of June. I hope it's not a gardening day either of those times! - Lynn

Thomaston, CT

Booj & Harper--very nice photos! Louise, that Dexter is one handsome guy! Sorry your little guy tires you out, Victor---I know the feeling--the 3yr old talked for 6 hours today! Hope Grant can tune her out! Came home, & had to pick up branches from yest. wind--no large ones, but a ton of smaller ones! Some iris are budded, the nonhybrids, can't wait to see my new ones!

Eastern Long Island, NY(Zone 7a)

Nice shot Sofonisba!

Beautiful day today, unfortunately I was on the road from 11am on so all I saw was the nuts and the traffic accidents! (You'd think with the price of gas people would slow down!). Expecting tomorrow to be slightly different as I have to get the backyard clear for the tree demolition team which will be doing 'their thing' in my backyard early Thurs am. (yippee!).

Temp 50.3, wind from the East, 2.4 mph now, Baro 29.88↑ Rh 62%. ☺

Questa, NM(Zone 5b)

How is it that kids can talk for hours and hours on end? It's exhausting listening and exhausting tuning them out.

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

Rain this PM

(Arlene) Southold, NY(Zone 7a)

Harper - my son is now 42 and I didn't speak to him for three years...waiting for him to stop talking. My grandson talks constantly unless he's eating blueberries. I cropped this shot just to show his blue teeth from his visit for Mother's Day.

Southern Dutchess Co, NY(Zone 5b)

Still in the low 70s but clouds have moved in. What a nice day it was! We are going up to Binghamton tomorrow to move our college student out of his dorm. He'll go back in a couple of weeks when the house he and a few friends are renting will be available, then take some summer courses. I imagine there is a TON of laundry coming home with him!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

That's for sure, Lynn!

Southern Dutchess Co, NY(Zone 5b)

Glad I spent today catching up on the laundry from the rest of the household! I am always amazed at the amount of clothing one person can generate!

Raining here this morning. Worrying about Saturday-I'm having a photo tips workshop here for the iris society. Hope it's not raining at 3PM!

Marlborough, MA(Zone 5b)

I just remembered that I have'nt updated anyone on Eliza. Well she came home last Thursday. I been off the planet for a week. The infection seems to be under control and getting better. I saw her for the first time Saturday. The poor little kid looks like she took a right hook from Mike Tyson, her eye is puffy and a little red. But it is 1000% better then when she was in the hospital. I feel bad for her and her mom and dad. In the 6 weeks of her life she has spent around 3 of them in the hospital.
Hopefully everything will now be normal and they can get on being a family.
Chuck

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Great news Chuck! 53 and overcast here.

Fairmont, WV(Zone 6a)

57 and overcast/foggy here. We're back in the Rain Pattern here on the windward side of the mountains--one sunny day this week, and then drizzle, rain, drizzle, rain, on and on and on. It's great for the plants, but unless I want to work in the rain I'm stuck inside. (Although actually sometimes I go out and work in the rain anyway. The neighbors think I'm nuts.)

(Arlene) Southold, NY(Zone 7a)

53, cloudy and the possibility of a shower but we're supposed to get sun this afternoon. It's the day we bring up all the trays and pots of plants from the basement to the garage to harden them off. I should be asleep by noon.

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

OMG Pirl. I wish I had half your energy.
Is there going to be a garden tour this year?
If there is another site with the garden tour on it let us know.I missed the site you sent when I joined in March.
