Spring Blooms - Part 8

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Hee hee - I plead the fifth, Bill! They're two great ones. So is Tamukeyama, which I have above my pond waterfall. (In case you don't have it! Shhhh.)^_^

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

Nice - I already have WildWood phone number here to check on Bene Kawa and Omurayama just to inquire. Might as well check this out as well.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Cool! Here's Beni from a few minutes ago.

Pretty! I have that one. Just planted it last year. I gotta go check on it to see if it has buds. Most of my clematis are budding out, but no flowers yet.

cross-posted: I was talking about 'Dawn'

Just beautiful Victor.

Thanks, Harper.

Hannibal, NY(Zone 6a)

I love that row of the viburnums. Just beautiful. I have Molly Schroeder too. Also Mary Milton. I just loved the names for some reason. Is there a better way to pick plants?

Kershaw, SC(Zone 8b)

Victor will Viburnums tolerate sun? All day sun, very breezy where they will be located. I want to, or would like to add them to the new bed that is still forthcoming, but I don't want to scorch them if I can help it!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Most will take full sun. Those in the photos are in full sun. I just planted Molly and Mary Milton too, Polly! I planted Mary in a crappy area and had to rescue it and relocate it. Hope it survives.

Can you say that on DG?
; )

Bill - here is Tamukeyama atop the falls. Not the greatest photo but it will do for now. Ignore the rain gauge and the solar lights near the falls. I'm still deciding where to put them where they're not so obtrusive.

Victor - I made the mistake of calling wildwood. The Beni Kawa and Autumn moon are on the way. the guy is walking through his jp' s and saying "oh yeah here is a real nice one" and "I got another good one here". So I got both.

Wait! I just remembered I ordered Autumn Moon from forest farm.

Called back replaced with Omurayama.

I am out of control!!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Slap yourself, Bill! Quickly!

Not much dancing from Salome, Victor. i was kinda annoyed about the color, but considering how tragic my bulb situation was, i'm just happy something came up! And they held up well too.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Hey, I finally got some blooms. Ok, not the showiest flower...I feel so behind the rest of you guys!

red chic, my guess (and it's totally that) would be that your mystery hosta is "June"

I'm happy to see Brunnera Jack Frost alive this year..I think the flowers are the prettiest shade of blue. I want to buy more of them to do sort of a mass planting, but I'm scared of them dying as they did last winter

It is such a treat to see every one's blooming gardens.
sjms, Love the species tulip
Victor, especially liked seeing Onondaga as I followed you and ordered one, but it will be a long time before I see blooms.
redchic01, big wow for the trillium.
amethystsm, I love my Shirley tulips, do you? For once, I found them much more interesting in bloom than the pictures in the catalog. I am going to add more.

Here is a few (24), promise, pictures taken today in the garden. We went away for 6 days and I was pleased to see some new kids out and some old ones not yet gone. Patti
