DAILY PICS VOL. 105
GP, great shot of the Grackle's tail feathers!!!!
And awesome photos from everyone - this thread is such a joy!
Dellrose............excellent pic of the Blue Jay. I wish I could re arrange my feeding station so I could get better lighting and closer shots, but the way the trees shade the area for a large part of the day and the way the house is positioned I can't figure out a way of doing it.
GP...Great pics and I love that Grackle shot...they are so funny and what a capture!
Adel..thanks but I must tell you I have to sit or stand in the bathtub to take those shots while trying to hide behind the curtain!! When I'm not shooting I leave a roll of paper towels where the lens will set hoping they don't notice when I replace it with the telephoto lens!! It really is funny what we will do to get the shots isn't it? Of course we only have one bathroom or I would probably have my tripod set up there also!! LOL!
I just shot this pic of an Immature Baltimore Oriole from there!! And now you know the rest of the story.
Also got this long shot of the Harris' Sparrow at another area I can see from that window. If I could take the screens off of all the windows I would faint from exhaustion trying to get all the pics available! Of course if you saw the outside where I have all this stuff set up you would shake your head wondering what the heck was going on at this place!!
OMG I just saw a Purple Finch again...!!
LOL Rose, yep, what we won't do! Great shots though, no matter how you got them ;-)
Very nice shots GP, really like the Grackle!
Very nice pics Mrs_Ed!!
I haven't seen my female Rb Grosbeak anymore, just the males, she must have already headed north.
Nice pics Mrs. Ed! Beautifully up close and personal!
BUt you've got the orioles and hummingbirds. I don't have those!! *whines*
Nice Oriole pic! I'm really enjoying watching ours.
Pelle asked if I'd start the new thread, here we go...

I really like your White-breasted Nuthatch shot, Mrs Ed. I had a White-breasted Nuthatch visit my peanut feeder today. I went to grab my camera and by the time I got back he had morphed into a black-capped chickadee. Oh well, maybe I'll be luckier tomorrow.
