pictures not showing

Scotia, CA(Zone 9b)

All of the sudden none of the pictures will load on the forums. Just the red x in the corner. I tried on s couple of forums and refreshed several times as well. Things are normal on other sites so is it a problem with DG?

I've got the same problem too.

Me too - glad it's not my computer.

me to no pics showing up in the treads?

Well, it must be a server side problem then. I am sure Dave will get it fixed as soon as possible.

LOL I posted that and the next second the pictures were back! Either Dave is faster than lightning or ir corrected itself.

I think it's because it's Monday. I remember someone saying they have a lot of reports to run on Monday's which really slows the system down quite a bit.

I am able to upload pic's but when I go to a thread that has photo's (especially if it has a lot of photo's on that thread) it takes forever and ever for them to actually show up ... just a white box appears. I figure I will go back later and look at them. LOL. At least I can read the posts!

Aaaaah, Monday's! ^_^

Last Monday was a lot slower for me than today ... I guess the Garden has to get geared up for the work week like a lot of other folks. LOL. Glad I'm retired!

It corrected itself.

Our data center warned us that they would be doing some router work this morning, and it's probable that this was the cause. Hopefully it won't happen again.

You can see the screenshot to see where the dip occurred. The screenshot shows the picture server's traffic over the past 24 hours.

Chuckle..so was that spike when I came online at 7 my time and started working on the helpdesk backlog????

That's my 3am nightly offsite backup. I have it set to download all the photos that were added to the site during the previous 24 hours, as well as synchronize the database with an offsite backup. So, if the data center ever burns down, all the DG data is safe in an undisclosed location.

Will gladly leave all that technical stuff to you! ^_^ As long as the entire site doesn't shut down! I can just imagine the chaos around the world if all of a sudden we could not access this garden! :( Don't even want to think about that ever happening!

Thanks Dave!
