You all have been very busy since I've been "gone"! I am enjoying catching up on all the new birds everyone is getting. Lovely shots everyone, keep them coming! Angele...congrats on the Hummer and the Green-tailed Towhee!

It is cold for our area (in the 30's last night and freeze warning for tonight)! Same thing happened last year and this area lost lots of plants and fruit. I hope our little birds will be OK. We now have 2 Male Indigo Buntings as well as at least 1 female. They are now eating at the feeders and seem to have settled in for the summer. That just thrills me!!!

The Baltimore Orioles are still visiting and I hope I can get more pics of them today as well as the pair of Ruby-throated Hummers. The Orioles are finally using the feeders as well!

I had a Dickcissel visit yesterday...a first! I only got this one crummy pic but will share it anyway! I hope he returns as he is very beautiful.

A Wren was hopping about but mostly kept to shadows, it didn't seem too bothered by me and I got the eye.

I heard another making it's call, a sort of churling grinding noise. This one was peeking at me from a rhododendron.

It climbed it's way to the top and flew off instead of coming out in full view!

They have a cute little tail.

Rats! I had a white-crowned sparrow (first for me) but it was further away and I thought it was a White-throated. By the time I put the binoculars down and picked up the camera, it was gone. grrrrr

Trying out a new program................................didn't work that good, it was supposed to have a wrap around text saying Female Black-headed Grosbeak. It's there but not readable.

Is there an option to choose the text it in white or light yellow?

yeah, with a lighter color it should show up. That would be cool!

I'm still looking for an option on text colors.

Found the option.......now if I can just remember where it is.

She is a beauty pelle! That is why I was out looking for them today. I want to see a female sooo bad! I hear them all around us, just can't find them!
