Very nice pictures everyone. Really liked the pheasant, oriole and waxwings. I started getting rose breasted grosbeaks a couple days ago. Now a I have several at the bird feeder.
DAILY PICS VOL. 100
Grasmussen - My condolences on the snow. We lucked out with only about 3 inches.
A friend took a short movie clip of a Cardinal feeding in the snowstorm yesterday. http://www.refreshandreplenish.com/cardinal/MOV02904.MPG
mrw31 - Love those grosbeaks!!!

OH, such wonderful pictures all. Here are a few finches out at my feeder. I tried so hard to get a picture of the wren that has a nest in my potting shed, but I didn't have any luck. She kept flying in and out I would pot up a few plants and then move away so she could come and go. All the time I could hear her mate giving signals. LOL
Holly - you may be able to bring them closer by putting out a peanut silo. I can't guarantee it will work, but it sure worked for me.
Loved the pictures folks. Thread 100! Wow!
Landscaping is taking time from my picture taking, but I do have news! The Cardinal nest in the holly bush has at least one egg in it. I could not get up any higher to see if there were more.
I'll keep watching for the birdies.
GG

NM_Jane - I watched the video - I couldn't stand It! LOL It IS dizzying!
That was a funny video Jane!
Its almost like someone painted them w/ white nail polish.
Nice pics nanny!
s'alright nanny, you have the butterbutts, I don't think I'll be getting those.
Very nice pics GP! I love the one where you caught the Red-bellied Woodpecker warning the Grackle!
Thank you Pelle, he actually chased the Grackle away and then came back and enjoyed some of the orange.
Wow yours are much different from mine. My red-bellieds won't even come into the yard if the Grackles are here.
Outstanding shots PC!!
I love the Grebe reflection and the Sparrow singing! All wonderful!
Thanks so much for sharing them with us!
Pelle.......when do we find out what type of hawk you started this thread with? Or did I miss somethng? Not that I would ever err.
Hi everybody :-) such wonderful photos, just amazing!! The excavating Flickers made my heart go 'ping'
Pelle I'm guessing Sharp-shinned on your hawk, looks just like one that visited me often over the winter.
I was thrilled to see a Green-tailed Towhee today. A few years ago there was a small flock living in some shrubs in my yard but then I didn't see them for a long time.
This isn't a great picture, hopefully I will see some again
