Smaller fonts in group pages

Bedford, VA(Zone 7a)

All of a sudden yesterday, the fonts changed on some of my community page threads and since I have vision problems, I have trouble reading the screens. How can I make the fonts on the pages bigger so I don't have to get my nose up to the screen?

From your preferences page, you can adjust the font size - click on this shortcut link to access your preferences:

I'm having the same problem, but only on one thread. http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/833270/
Everything else is normal (my font is set to my browser font). Just happened out of the blue yesterday. It appears not only the font size but the font style is also different.

Yep, having the same problem as miata, it is definitely a different font on that page. My preferences are set to my browser so that page shouldn't have a different font than the other DG pages, right?

There's a thread in the Azaleas forum like that too. I kind of like it!

Might be a browser thing--I went to both those links and they look exactly the same as this thread (I'm using Safari)

Albuquerque, NM(Zone 7a)

Looks normal to me on both threads. .

Scotia, CA(Zone 9b)

I am seeing one font on the soil and composting forum and a different font on this forum. This one looks normal for DG and Soil and Compost looks like comic sans. I can't remember which one it was that looked like Arial lite yesterday but it is disconcerting to the old brain cells to go back and forth like that!

Edited to add that on the soil and composting forum other threads appear normal but this one is different Post #4757271

You can also change your font size by pressing and holding your control key and rolling the wheel on your mouse back and forth for larger and smaller

I'm not seeing any problems...sorry ;o)

I'm seeing it now--I'm on my work computer with IE. Basically all the pages usually look like Arial font (or something very similar) except the pages in question look like Times New Roman (or something similar). It's very weird, when I was on my home computer with Safari the fonts all looked like they normally do but on this computer those couple threads look different.

I see it in the linked pages here and noticed it yesterday in a page in the Lily forum. Different font, and the banner didn't strech across the whole way. I have a wide monitor. I am using IE6, and haven't made any changes.

Here's another one of the funny font ones http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/838797/

It does the same for me, and the bars are a really dark blue.

edited - I think it's not really darker blue, just that the tabs are sort of hidden in it.

Here's a screenshot of the thread I posted above so Dave & Terry will know what we're talking about:

Hmmm, that's pretty odd. Is everyone who is seeing these oddball fonts and colors on IE or are you using some other browsers, too?

Belfield, ND(Zone 4a)

I'm not seeing it in Firefox, but I am in IE.

Augusta, GA(Zone 8a)

It is odd, but once they were pointed out, they are definitely there on IE. I ran across one where the poster was playing with html, but these are consistent throughout the thread.

Dublin, CA(Zone 9a)

I didn't see it in Safari, but did see it in IE version 6. Haven't tried Firefox.

Scotia, CA(Zone 9b)

It is showing on IE6 (at work) and IE7 (at home)

Sometimes it is the light font and sometimes it is comic sans. Very odd!

I think this issue should now be fixed!

Scotia, CA(Zone 9b)

LOL Glad you fixed it Dave. I was beginning to think you were pulling a late April Fools joke on us.

Dublin, CA(Zone 9a)

Thanks Dave! Everything looks fine now (of course I'm back home on Safari where there was never a problem in the first place! LOL)

Bedford, VA(Zone 7a)

My pages are fine now too, thank you Dave!
