Just really getting to know about Hibiscus...and really how much I don't know...I always thought the double hibiscus just bloomed in a big ball...but I guess they open all the way under the proper conditions...I guess I better go lurk on the Hibiscus forum and learn something!

Wonderful green thumb you have, loved all the pictures and learning from you.

Houston, TX(Zone 9a)

Thanks guys....most of the credit is to mother nature. It's taken her sometime to teach me about plants through the school of trial and error, and this year I'm taking beginning landscaping 101.
I'm learing alot from everyone here, my friends etc.
I've already had to start cutting back the entire garden, seems more like June than April as far as the extreme plant growth goes.

Yes Chrissy, everytime I see your pictures, it reminds me very much of my garden!

Desoto, TX(Zone 8a)

I'm still planting.

South Florida, FL(Zone 10b)

Would love to be able to see it in person.

Whew not today it wouldn't, we are enjoying ...brrrrrrr our first (and way early) frost coldest April day in over 25 years (a mean Winter on it's way)...So it is a great joy to see your Spring in the "jungle" ...love it!

WOW! wonderful Garden, You wanna come play in mine! It could use all the help it could get.
P.s I think that the Hibiscus you have as unknown #4854654 looks almost a perfect match to "The Path". the Photos in Plant files really do not do it any justice(no offense to the members)
if you google for "the Path" a touch of tropics will come up it is the bloom in the header, I had bought it 2 years ago from them(now closed), it was a great bloomer(before I killed it)
Some afternoon shade made all the difference in the bloom,

Again you have a wonderful place to enjoy I hope to see lots of furture Photos.

Rj ,you will be happy to know that your "gold"Brug has been happily growing and blooming its
14ft head off. I have it in the ground in the GH and it has yet to stop blooming, I love it.

This after we gave it a haircut and trim..LOL

That is beautiful!!!!! Do you have to cool the GH in the summer? What is your high temps during the summer?

Houston, TX(Zone 9a)

aah...beautiful. That brug is my favorite, it blooms more than anyother I have, and is more heat and cold tolerant than the others too. I bought the original plant unmarked at a landscaping business that has one plant sale a year. I had no idea at the time what color it would bloom or anything. I can now tell by the leaves, as they are more serated than the others.
Glad your loving it!

Pittsburg, MO(Zone 6b)
