More Brugs...this was from winter...alot of you have seen this one..but it's worth seeing again
The "Jungle" is now in session
Wow! Your garden is even lovelier than last summer, if that's possible. Still planning to come to Austin?
STUNNING!!! :)
Thank you for sharing!
-Joe
Thanks!
Yes- still planning on coming up.. couple weeks right?
So weekend of the 10th? Looking forward to it.
Yes..that sounds good for me
Excellent! The "face" is wonderful... there must be a story behind it?
BTW on the tropical thread your newly renovated area looks like it has been in the jungle for ages. Very nice....
awesome!!!
Thanks~
no...no story other than the face from this (pictured) lamp had blown off this winter..It was so windy...one week was from the North, then the next week it would blow from the south equally as hard.
I've since glued this one back together and put it back on the lamp, but had purchased the other one to replace it...didn't like it as well on the lamp
Wow. Beautiful garden. What a delight!
Absolutely stunningly beautiful!
RJ, I have always enjoyed pictures of your plants and your garden.
Thank you for showing them to us. I really enjoyed the show.
Rj your gardens are just so stunning, loved gettign to meet you at the Round-up and the tour afterwords we really ahd the best car there. Just was at Christi's place last night and those brugs are huge, the castor bean too... and the Morngin Glory tree... and everything - she is going to soon ahve a tropical paridise up here too. Very sharp - keep posting pics and one of these days I am going to have to make that trip in person.
Very inspiring. We worked very hard yesterday planting. Now must consult my "Randy's Dirt" file to get the recipe for the fertilizer solution once more. Will probably have to visit Rita and see how she does the hoop house before next winter. Way too much to go in my little hothouse. Seeing your garden just gives me "goosebumps".
Mahalo,

Gracious what a beautiful garden. Something to aspire to!!!

For those of you that don't know, Randy's journal is a fountain of knowledge. Check it out. Gives hints and recipes for how he grows such enormous plants.
Very smart guy.

I do, the largest one is behind the landscaping by the fence, there are 3 large ones on the deck,
3 large ones in the front garden, 2 large ones along the back driveway garden, and then the other 23 are on the "out of season" storage table. They are now coming in season, and I have alot of re-potting to do
Most of Randy's garden is too exotic even for Houston. Has something magic in his mix. Sure hoping he left some of it here.
