Has anybody ever had a dream that you were digin' in your flower beds and dug a hole to China? I did a lot of diggin' one day and that night I dreamed that I dug up a large plant and when I got it out of the hole, I looked down and I could see all the way through the earth. I wish the dream had continued, but unfortunately I woke up. I always wanted to see China.:) I supposed the interpretation would be that I did too much diggin' that day?:) No, not possible. You can't dig too much.
Sorry, I don't have a picture to add.:)
Has anybody ever dreamed that
I haven't dreamed that but I have dreamed about working in the garden all night and wakened more tired than when I went to bed. LOL
Well, I haven't dreamed that, but many times I've gone to bed feeling energized because I spent all day working in the yard and still thinkiing about future projects. Then waked up the next morning feeling like I'd been run over by a tank.lol But I'm sure lots of others do that too.
Yup, I know the tank feeling! LOL
I never dreamed it, but when I was about 6 years old, a neighbor and I actually tried digging the hole to China - LOL !
lol Countrymom, how far did you get? Sounds like a fun idea. I've always been fascinated with the idea of digging up things that have buried for a long time. I thought about majoring in archaeology (sp) in college. I guess if I had done that, I would have learned to spell it.:)
I wish I had dreams about the garden. Most of my dreams are ridiculous...like a giant Tide box chasing me around the house. You know the part of the box you open to scoop it out? Well, that was it's mouth and it was trying to eat me. Yeah, I've got wayyyy behind on laundry. Good grief.
L.O.L., heatherjoy! I had a dream once where I carried a mop and a bucket of soapy water around with me everywhere I went and just started cleaning. It was not especially pleasant but in the dream it was just what was normal for me! Obviously I needed a vacation.
LOL!! I think you need a vacation worse than me! I just got up from a nap a bit ago and I actually dreamed that I was at my DSIL's Mom's house. Her Mom, Dad and I were getting ready to can up some goodies from the garden. I guess that kinda counts as dreaming about the garden??
LOL at Heeathrjoy and Roybird. Very funny mental pictures.:)
I had a very strange dream a few months ago. We live in the Texas hill country. Not as hilly as Pennsylvania, but hilly enough to be a challenge for a bike rider. Well I dreamed one night that I rode a tricycle to Llano which is about 20 miles or so from Fredericksburg. The road is a very narrow 2 lane state highway and winds through the hills for it seems like forever even when you're driving and there's no shoulder most of the way.
In the dream, how was your trip?
OMgosh, that sounds like a dream I'd have. LMBO!! Did you at least get into The Guiness Book of World Records for riding a tricycle the farthest?
When I was just out of high school and had my first real job I once dreamed that I was in prison and my boss was the warden. I didn't stay at that job for long...do I need to explain??
About two years ago I had a dream (that I can't even remember the details of now) that DH was being mean to me. I woke up, but only about 1/2 way...just enough to kick DH. He woke up and said "What was that for????" I told him to quit being mean to me. Poor guy. I really hardly even remember the whole thing, but I know I kicked him. He's slept on the couch a lot since then.
Roybird, I think I had a good time. It was spring and the wildflowers were blooming the little hearts out.:)
Heathrjoy, I don't remember getting any awards, just strange looks. Probably farmers and ranchers calling me a tourist.:) I had a job once where I felt like I was in prison. I worked in a potpouri factory and sat in a chair all day and tied dead flowers (milo) onto stinky little pouches of rock salt. Awful job.
L.O.L., silverfluter, that's a great description of your potpourri factory job!
Thanks Roybird. DD laughed at me too, but not at the aroma. Potpouri used to smell kind of good to me in stores, but I avoid that stuff now. I don't even wear perfume much anymore. The scents we used in that stuff were full of chemicals and not good for you and most perfumes aren't either. Now when I do use perfume, it's natural plant oils and stuff. The factory where I worked sold their products to Neiman Marcus and I went in there one day just to see what they looked like. There were some women in there oooing and awing over them and I resisted the temptation to tell them what I thought. It was very interesting too, because the ribbons didn't look anything like the way we fixed them before we put them into the box. The ribbons had wire in them so you could reshape them anytime.
That interests me because I love playing with essential oils and herbs. I make various things but I hate artificial scents most of the time. A friend of mine was visiting relatives who put very chemically scented candles throughout their house. She had to put the guest room candle in a closet so she could sleep there! I guess it is a very individual experience, scent.
