Lovely everyone.

Okay, Junco report… I haven't seen a single junco today. And I'm not sure I saw one yesterday either.

Whiteside County, IL(Zone 5a)

So if the Juncos are gone, that means my hummingbirds can get here.

Saw the chipping sparrow for the first time in months today.

Great start Adel and thanks for starting the new thread. That Hummer is awesome!!

Nanny...great pics and I wish you would send your Flicker here...I'd love to have him!! Love that RW Blackbird!!

Mrs. Ed...Those Chipping Sparrows are just the sweeted looking birds. The pics of the Downy are great and that last one is a hoot!!

We had lots of rain today and the birds are in a panic eating like there's no tomorrow!

Chicago, IL

Great Downy shots Mrs. Ed!

Nanny - those flicker shots are fun. I haven't seen one of those in years.

Marlton, NJ

Great shots guys!

Thanks for starting the new thread adel!

NM Jane, Wonderful pics in the last thread!

Putnam County, IN(Zone 5b)

he looks a little annoyed there Mrs. Ed!

The Flickers are beautiful birds, but some days they go on and on and on! A moment or two of silence is nice. They are in th little woods right across from our house. I am sure they will probably nest there too. SO will have little flickers before long. They have wrapped it up for the day now. So all is getting quiet for the evening!

Nice hummingbird up there. Flickers are cool.

A rare visitor to our polluted lake - a loon. I got a closer shot than this, but this one had more ironic interest.

Great shots everyone. Mrs. Ed, bet you couldn't share the words that woodie was silently sending to you, if it could speak! LOL

Very nice pictures Nanny. I'll take some of your Flickers, noise and all.

Al, good shot of the Loon.

Gardenpom, those Indigo Buntings are beautiful.

Today was very overcast, cold and windy but the wind blew in 3 new birds to our yard and we now also have at least 3 Hummingbirds. The birds have been eating like crazy with the cold weather and I am going broke feeding them.

Here is a first...Yellow Throated Warbler
