You've had me laughing with your witticisms, pirl! Between slugs and dirt..... I don't know! I've become used to using "potting medium" to cover all forms of potted plants and soil for those in the ground. Slugs are just slugs, although when I lived in Nashville, I was completely grossed out when I saw the size and number of the disgusting beasties crawling up the sides of the houses down there! - Lynn
Pirl is a Genius
Same reason I do, Pirl, but I have been known by neighborhood children to be "playing in the dirt" when I plant or weed.
I call garden soil dirt, but not potting soil. Potty problems, however, result in 'soiling'.
Gee whiz, Victor, I thought you had those problems "behind" you.
I walk backwards...
Fair warning: Deterioration in progress.
Yes, that's how the best soil is made.
Victor - I forgot to tell you that my Rosy Dawn order arrived yesterday and it was not only in perfect condition and every plant was perky (a "good thing") but not a leaf was missing through the trials of shipping. I'll have to go leave positive feedback now.
That's great. I never placed an order this year. Thought I would have enough from the cuttings. Turns out I probably will need more. Yes, I was very happy with them last year. Same experience as you.
