College Station Roundup Photos

I t was a wonderful day, with 57 people attending, the Pavilion was lovely surrounded by greenery, with a large kitchen. The food was incredible, many wonderful main dishes side dishes and desserts.
Lots of plants everywhere, and great door prizes, we had a wonderful time seeing old friends again and meeting new ones. It is always a great time to be able to talk to your Dave's friends.
We came home with some wonderful plants.

Here is Blue-eyes Kim with Smockette Linda, it was her Birthday so she had a special gift from Kim.

Here I am Frostweed Josephine with LindaTx8, it was so good to see her again. She has given me lots of wonderful plants over the years.

We had a wonderful time.....made a lot of new friends,...ate some very good food,....came home with some new, fascinating plants, ...enjoyed some great conversation....all during a beautiful day. Countin' the days 'til the next one!! Thanks to everyone for their hospitality! It was great!

Gene and Ivy, they brought the excellent sausage. We met for the first time.

Karla and James. They gave me Texas Mountain laurels from their beautiful tree. Thank you.

And the last group, Jessica, Sundra, Aunt Anne, Deb and Jackie her daughter. What a lovely group.

I am sure there are people I missed, and unfortunately by the time we thought about it, some people had left and we didn't get a group picture. Please forgive me if i missed you, and if the names need correcting please let me know so I can do it.

I've seen a thread discussing the recipe for the cheesecake but didn't know what the rave was about till I tasted it. OMG so yummy.

I was thinking of you having a great day. The closest I got to gardening was seeing the pretty wildflowers between Austin and Houston.I am so glad you had perfect weather and so much fun.

Thank You Anna, the wildflowers were very pretty on our way to College station too.
Bluebonnets Primroses, Coreopsis, Senecio, Queen Anne's lace, Red Clover, Verbena,so many lovely
flowers, I bet I missed some, but you couldn't tell everything from a speeding car.
I love the Texas country side.
