Very overcast day here, so most of the shots are on the dark side. Here's an Indigo Bunting.
Daily Pics Vol.# 93
OMG Dave. That is hilarious. He is some wild and crazy guy!!!
ahaaaa! Wonderful Dave! Yup, TV.
Very funny Dave! Guess she didn't like his moves! The Tree Swallow is beautiful!
Elphaba, Nice pic of the Waxwings sharing!
GP, Love the Flycatchers!
Nice ones nanny and HollyAnn!
Lol at cowbirds
Great day for birding... Terrible for photographing. We went to PArker River Wildlife Refuge today and saw Tree Swallows (new, no pic),10 American Kestrels (NEW), 7 Northern Harriers, and I think I saw a few Eastern Phoebe's but didn't get a pic. Saw a few Flickers, too.
Edited to tell about my favorite sight of the day. A nesting Great Horned Owl! No pics (sorry!) she was far away through a scope. She was sleeping while sitting on her eggs.
Americal Kestrel through a scope.

Great pics Rose!
Wish I saw those Purple Finch here but I haven't so far.
Thanks Pelle, I think we have them year around...lately though there are a lot more than usual...probably came up from the south. Someone north of us has an Indigo Bunting at their feeder so I am hopeful I'll see one of those someday. Gardenpom has piqued my interest in them. Still no Hummers yet.
I could hear the Cuckoo as I was shooting the above pics...sounded like it was just around the corner....one of these days...LOL!
He does resemble Dan Akroyd, Dave! Stunning raptor photos Shan.
Snow in the early a.m., but the sun came out mid-afternoon, and it's a gorgeous evening. Temps supposed to be 45-55 the rest of the week. Chunks of ice still on Lake Erie.
Rose… just fabulous shots.
Or all of the above? Nice pic!!
Very nice pics Elphaba!
Thanks Mrs. Ed and Elphaba!
Elphaba...Those pics of the Blue Jay and Grackle are something I've never seen. I can imagine what it means though!! Great shots!
