Her Rhubarb is doing well.....
Flowers in the garden
Wow, I am going to have to look for a pineapple flower, that is really neat. Your mums gardens are like something out of a magazine, so well manicured and laid out. MIne are so unplanned and they appear so as well!
Nice greenhouse, Steve has one at work for his clients use but nobody seems to know how or what to plant. I will have to research that for him as he would like them to be able to sell some flowers in the fall, something other than just mums.
I don't have any digitalis this year and didn't realize it until I just saw yours, how'd I manage that I wonder?
Thanks Candee. Yeah Mums garden is a bit too tidy for me, but they like it like that!
The foxgloves usually seed themselves around don't they? maybe you weeded them out Lol!!
LOL, not the only thing I have weeded out in years past! Let me tell you, that's why I find myself at the garden place every spring to reclaim what I have managed to rid myself of.
I like the tidy look, just haven't ever been able to achieve it. You mums is lovely, perhaps once I retire (if that ever happens) I'll have more time to organize.
Nice, what camera did you get Adele?
It's called Xacti by Sanyo. It's also a video camera and it is waterproof up to 1.5 m. I'm loving it.
Ohh La La, Flowers galore today! Thank you.
Mmmmm yum Pineapple, my favourite fruit. When will that be ready Candee?!!
Your foxtail lilies are VERY impressive, ooohhhhhhh the slugs here would love those
Love the campanula is that the globe type?, I used to have one of those.....not any more!!.
I don't know when you find time to chillax in your hot tub with such a beautiful garden to maintain? You are doing a great job!
Adele, A new camera fantastic! Lovely to see your flowers, your Black eyed susan is gorgeous! I bet it would look good with the blue flax in an arrangement. What is flax? a type of geranium?
So, with your new camera we can look forward to lots of pictures eh? LOL!
LOL, we have a hottub, never said I had any time to relax in it!!! Actually the gardens kind of take care of themselves these days, my weeding is next to nothing as the RU in years past has really done the trick. I have both types of campanula the bell and the globe, yes that is the globe. It was supposed to have been white, but oh well, will have to find another sometime. Pineapply will likely be ready in early October.
Adele, I can see why you are lovin it so much, getting great photos with it.
Hi Terri
I 3x love the blue flax. It's billowy and airy but it does not last long in an arrangement, it doesn't even last a day. Common name: "Blue Sapphire Flax" Latin name: Linum perenne
Your roses are marveleous!
I'm going to be taken lots and lots of pictures.
Hi Candee, I'm glad you liked the photos and I especially love your hot tub flower bed.
My friend's husband took this photo in the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens
Oh yes, Linum of course! I had a red one once. I remember they are too flimsy for arrangements.
WoW that tree is spectacular, absolutely stunning! Thanks for the picture.
Lovely, don't believe I have seen a rose of sharon in yellow, I like it. I have one that is odd it is a combo of deep wine and kinda lavender. I really like those pineapple lilies they are stunning.
I want to live there, it's not fair!!!!!!! Beautiful garden.
As my momma used to say "be careful what you wish for " LOL, thanks, it is quite homey to us.
I am jealous of every one of you :-P
Beautiful gardens all!!!
But here is the difference Traci, once you get your gardens going down there in Alabama, they go on for many more months, I just get to enjoy for about 4 months here!
Come on up and take a stroll through mine whenever you want.
