I like that Indigo Bunting up there - pretty rare here.

I forgot the name of these diving ducks - real common though.

They look like Lesser Scaup to me.

You know it's not easy being the only Fox Sparrow in the area.

This picture is positively horrible that I shouldn't share it, but I'm just too excited! I'd been hearing a Northern Flicker but I haven't seen him since February which was the first time that I'd ever seen one. Today, after running around the neighborhood with my camera and binoculars following his call, I finally found him after I'd given up was walking in my back gate. Transformers, more than meets the eye.

This Red-bellied woodpecker is eating in her favorite spot. The Downy tried to chase her away from it yesterday, but she just looked at him like "What is wrong with you. I eat here every day!"

Any day now the Mulberry tree is going to run out of fruit and these waxwings will be gone. I just love them though! Here, they are above me in the sweetgum tree.

Gardenpom, your bird shots make me want to move to Florida! What kind of seed is that that your Painted Bunting is enjoying? The one that I saw last year came at the end of April, so I want to be ready!

GP: Outstanding day for your! All great, but I have to say I love the color your caught on the buntings and the flycatcher!

Mr. C appears to have had a beak injury. Didn't slow him down scarfing up the b.o.s.s. , tho.
