Our new servers are in!

The new servers arrived yesterday and I spent much of the day yesterday and all day today installing the OS and getting them configured for their role as web servers for DG.

They are almost ready for installation, so it's now time for me to plan a trip to Dallas and install these servers. DG will be reliably fast for as long as these new servers are in operation. Can't wait! :)

So what are their names going to be?

I'm going to have to stick with temple and spirit. I realized yesterday that these names are hard coded in some areas and if I change the names then I have to go through and change a lot of other areas. So, I'm going to name them after the old servers to make things a bit easier for myself.

Very new age-ish. Where's 'crystal'??

I'm planning for Dallas tomorrow and hopefully the servers will be in operation tomorrow. I may wait until Monday before putting them to work, though.
