I should start perusing their site now and create a wish list LOL Is there something they might perhaps put on sale during July due to season change? I sure don't mind waiting a year to see something bloom if I can get a good bargain on it......

As far as I know the only time I've seen them have a sale was last fall, online. I try to pick the weirdest thing from their catalog to buy and it's always been worth it. have to stay within $ guidelines though, as much I'd love to have some of those fabulous and expensive rohdeas....

Usually PDN doesn't offer any discounts until fall, when their main sales season is over. The discounts will be on plants for which they have a surplus, or that have outgrown their sales containers. The usual discount is 10-20% - I have not seen any deep discounts or half-price sales. So, you can get a bit of deal on some plants if you wait... but if you're zone-pushing, fall is the worst time to plant... so you'd better have some means of overwintering the plants you get.

I had a great time at the last one so I'll be there if I can. Will anyone actually be wanting to take home plants this time?lol. I'm sure I'll bring some anyway and whatever else I can bring.

bev - off subject...I put all your sedums you so generously shared into a 16" bowl and am awaiting the heuf's and semps from a coop to finish off what is shaping up to be an awesome tabletop piece...thanks again!

Shari, I have several of your plants from last year. I think the stokesia is getting ready to bloom. Can't wait! We'll have a good time once again, lol!

I spray painted the pine cones I got from you last year and they looked great Christmas.
I love my plants from last year also and wish I had gotten some moe of the mole beans and the little cactus looking thingys.

It is July 12th right?

LOL, since I am at the coast I can take a lot more. Better soil bigger space.

I'll take home plants!! lol just no sago palms this time around, between the BOP and Sago from the round up I thought I was going to have to tie my mom to the roof rack (sorry plants had to stay safe...she has hands to hold on with ok JK)

lol bev....she's a trooper...since she is quitting her day job (ok it's not like she has a nite job or anything...it just sounded funny to say it so thought I better clarify on her behalf LOL!!) I bet she'll come....

Ya know I told her that she's 'one of us', lol! Anyone who's willing to cook for us and take care of all of us they way she does just cannot be denied! About that night job....;->

wow, it's been a busy spring!

Last year, if I recall correctly, folks came between 10-12 to visit Plant Delights and/or buy, then we met at Lake Benson (??) park @ noon and ate, swapped, shot water guns, etc,. Not sure if that's how it will happen this year, but it seemed to work out well.

Trop: we need to put together a pure sign up thread and link it from several of the threads like last time. I can do that if you want...I'm going to go over today and pay for the shelter at LBenson, then we can start the food conversation, lol! Lavina said that she's cooking so let's track her down...Lavina??
I'd say we stick with the plan same as before...It was kind of relaxed and not too much for me to handle:-) 'k?

12:00pm-2:00pm: swap/lunch at Lake Benson Park
