Why aren't my pink daffs pink

Winchester, KY(Zone 6a)

Finally got a few pics! Here's the double that showed up in the naturalizing mix. It has turned pinker since this was taken.

This is one I've lost track of the name when I moved. I'm pretty sure it came from Brent&Becky's. The cup is kind of distinctive, any ideas what it could be?

edited to add: Suzy got it! It's 'Romance'

Gem, Your unknown is probably Romance...go to www.daffseek.org and see. There are 2 with that scalloped cup commercially available, but I can't recall the 2nd one.

Well, this pic shows way too much grass and weeds, so please disregard the mess, its an area under development now. The lighting has thrown the color off some, but you can get the idea about the color combo I've been pleased with.

Suzy, you're right! I ordered that one year before last. Thanks!

'Fragrant Rose' in the garden with 'Perestroyka' tulips behind echoing the color:

Thanks, Illoquin, for all the analysis on 'Fragrant Rose' and the daff collection from Scheepers. OK. So I will stay away from them! Thanks for the heads up.

Gem, I love your roster of pinks...

That 'Elizabeth Ann' is so very winsome! And all the others are lovely, too, of course.

I will try the Peresroyka tulip with my 'Fragrant Rose' daffs next year...you know I'm always looking for those 'color echoes'...

Keep the pics coming!
