I know this sounds weird, but does any one know if the roots are edible? Just wondered!l

The seeds are poisonous, don't know about the roots.

Hi Krispi,

Though certainly bountiful, I have never heard of consuming the roots
of Mirabilis.

Better to be on the safe side and stick with potatoes.
