Ecclesiastes, I think.
And, The Turtles.
Spring Blooms - Part 2
the byrds?
Yes - the Byrds.
Dern it all. I really thought it was The Turtles. Oh well. At least it was an animal!
But not The Animals!
Oh brother!
Can you believe the crazy names of the popular music groups way back then?
On second thought, they're just as crazy now.
Can't place the group Ecclesiastes. Must have been before my "time" ;^)
Nice Bbrook! J.S. Dijt is terrific. I got one in a mix and was surprised at how intense the color is. The 2008 Brent and Becky catalog came yesterday. Get yours yet?
Nice, Patti!
David_paul, I am in the thick of reading it and will be sending in the first order soon with the new for me bulbs that I really want to add next year, plus repeats of a few of the ones already blooming that I need to add to. But I will hold out for some of the fall sales for many. I want armies of reticulated iris. The NOID one in the picture I bought 100 for 12.00 in a Dec order from Touch of Nature (100 for 12.00 Dwarf Iris Reticulata - You can't beat that !. Patti
Very pretty blooms, I like those IR. Still waiting for B&B catalog here, it better come soon. I sure could use some new browsing material on these crummy cold rainy days.
Funny I received mine months ago and just got another.
(ummm ... Dave47 ...... Ecclesiastes is a book in the Bible)
(i think he probably knew that...^_^)
Oh well!

Here's a cool website that my sister told me about ...
When you open the web page, it will be blank but just click on your mouse, drag across the page and see what happens!

Mark, that's beautiful. Lauri must feel so proud! You, too, for sure!
Nice job Mr. C, I am looking forward to seeing all the crocosmia in July. I agree your edges are very neat.
Nice, Mark. Best use of grass - as a path.
Re flower garden web site: I thought fire works were on the 4th of July.
Thanks for the link Candyce. Most fun I've had today!! :-) Eleanor
p.s. - Think I'll go back and watch the flowers grow and bloom one more time!!
thanks for the lovely comments.............. it will look so good later in the year when things start growing!!! Even better next year......... I hope!!
sigh. it doesn't work for me...
Amy, Thanks for the vote of confidence. It was an attempt at humor.
Wow! Those look very full.
They came up, along with three other groups of them, in the middle of a path but they look so nice in spring that they'll stay there. A wayward lupine also decided to plant itself in the wrong spot, not far from the Chionodoxa, and it will also stay there.
Very pretty color. Another one for the list. I love the little surprises in spring. :)
There is a house near Edgerton Park in New Haven (or Hamden) where the lawn is COVERED with, now that i parked to get out and look, what i think are chianodoxa. Brilliant lavender carpet. i only had my phone, so the pics didn't come out. i'll try later in the week.
Great shots, Victor.
really nice shots Victor!.... what's the stinking hellebore smell like?
