Well, I'll be- folks from my own back yard practically- I hope there's room for one more- Look forward to chiming in- here's a not so great shot of the first crocuses here -even an ant on one of the petals, so spring has to have sprung- Had heavy coat and scarf on, but still... See you all around, Sarah
Hey, I didn't know this forum existed!
Hey Sarah!
Welcome Sarah! Feel free to chime. We were wondering where you were!! Check out the spring blooms thread. Please post regularly. You will like it here.
thanks for the welcome!! It seems like a rather chatty forum... is it possible northeasterners have a lot to say?
Yes - very chatty. About gardening and just about anything else we're allowed to discuss! How big is your garden? Please post photos of it when you get the chance. What do you like to grow? Do you still have snow?
Welcome Sarah... very chatty forum... can't wait to see more of your photos
Allison
hello all!- I'd say my yard is still about 3/4 covered in snow- the shadier colder spots will take quite a while to thaw.... but there are signs of things happening... we'll still get more snow before its all over, I'm sure!
Welcome Sarah - glad to have you with us! Eleanor
Welcome to the NE forum Sarah. We would love to hear your plans for your garden this year.
Mr C your daffs look positively disgusted with their new coat of snow. Hope it melts quickly.
For people up north I hope it melts at a steady slower rate but gets gone soon cause it is finally getting more like spring. :)
Yes they were positively disgusted............. but, they will get over it....
This weather is holding up our garden project, can't get out there and dig!!!!!!!!!!!!! We are taking up most of the lawn to make the borders a little larger!!
Mark
Thank you................ yes they are veryyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy sad, but warmer weather is on the way so that should perk them up a little!!!
Its my crocosmia that i am more worried about.......
Hi Sarah - welcome.
I hope this forums exists - otherwise I've got more explaining to do at my next session ;)

Welcome, Sarah!
Welcome Sarah.
Hello there, Mr. Crocosmia.
Hello there Polly........................ How are you......???
Good, thank you.
Waiting patiently here for the snow and ice to melt.
Is that snow a rarity for you? It does look fluffy and lovely.
Glad you came aboard the NE Express, Sarah!
Mr. C - what amount of snow do you normally get there?
Hi Mark,
What's going on there?!! I've been enjoying many Brit spring photos for weeks now on the Photos forum. Hope things change back quickly.
Victor
Its not at all a rarity.................. although the last few years we haven't had as much as say 15 years ago. Maybe due to global warming.
Usually we get snow in Feb and March............. normally around 6 inches or so.
I too am waiting for the snow to melt..............
Hi Victor
Nothing much going on here apart from snow, ice, hail, rain and sleet and freezing cold temps.....................
The people with the spring photos must live down south of the country where they don't get the snow etc (well not much).
I hope it changes quickly too.
Mark
Good luck!
Thanks!!!
We are nearly into April, so I can't see it lasting that much longer now.......... should be donr and dusted by may!!!
Then it will be chaos time, getting all the plants of of the greenhouses and sheds.......... can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Check out the spring blooms thread and please post photos on it!!
Ok, will do
And on the Northeast forum too, please, Mark. I always love your pictures.
Welcome Sarah!!!!! if you want to see us for real, we are having a RU on June 28th!!!!! you are more than welcome to come!!!!
Ok Polly.......................... will do!!! LOL

Welcome Sarah!
Hi Mark...long time no see!
Hey Pixie.............................. isn't it just!! How are you........????????
Oops, sorry, guys.
I'm flu addled here, and still have snow. Take pity, please.
Bummer. Lots of late season flu this year. Feel better!!
Thanks.
I think I'm the only one at work who hasn't gotten sick, and I plan to keep it that way.
Welcome Sarah! I have a friend just across the river in Brattleboro.
Nice to see you around Mark!
Polly, I hope you feel better soon.
Harper
Thanks, I'm already feeling better. Lots of sleep last night, and a nap today, after two days of grandkids helped.
I love naps.
So you're a napster!
