Hi Everyone!!
Happy Spring, and Happy Easter!! I hope that everyone is having a great weekend!
Finally, signs of Spring here! The daffodils and tulips are poking their heads out of the ground, the Bradford Pears are about to burst into bloom, and the Robins have taken over. :) Spring is definitely my favorite time of year.
I thought I'd start things off with my Eastern Towhee.
And, we came from here.... http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/825849/
DAILY PICS VOL. 82
Cute little chickadee...
I'm sure ,he's gonna get the part Adel LOl
Resin, re the vulture. ROTFL!!! After they flew off I hid under a tree with the camera at the ready like a deer hunter. They were having none of that!
I wish we had towhees.
Our wrens will be here the first week in May. The orioles the second week.
I love hearing chickdees sing.
Grackles are pretty and I love the first red wings.
Downys are always a favorite.
Juncos do feel like winter and Doves never leave. They bring spring in.
Catbird from last summer.
All you guys posted while I was sending with dial up. I am so slow!
adelbertcat - great theatrical shot!
LOL Mrs _Ed, that's pretty neat.
Mrs. Ed I took him at his word, but maybe he was trying to pull a fast one.

Pelle :-)
LOL, Very cool!!
Referred here from the Sticky rules of the forum, I couldn't resist posting one of my more interesting bird watching finds. He is a native of Lake Washoe Nevada seen in the South viewing platform area. Well designed, I thought for feeding in the shallow riparian area that the state Park Service maintained *even* when the lake itself went totally dry near the end of the drought a few years ago.
Very nice pic bg!! He is well equipped for that!
I don't know much about that type of bird so I'll let Resin or someone else ID it.
Thanks for posting it!!
Bgrumbin I'm certainly no expert but I think it might be a Wilson's Snipe.
Very nice pics GP!! Love the Catbird!!
Oh GP, that Indigo is gorgeous! I hope to get some here. What are their favorite plants?
