Hey Dave!
Last night I attended the Appalseed Heirloom seed starting workshop for Kentucky. It's a program that is hosted by county libraries all over Kentucky and it is about the history of heirloom tomatoes. How to start them, history of them and the importance of saving these type of seeds. You also got to pick out seed packets to take home to start your own heirloom's and you also got 2 seedlings of an heirloom called Egg Yolk. I saw in the literature they passed out information on our own gardenwatchdog. They spoke of Daves garden and the great forums and information you could get from our site. There were 3 DGers there at the workshop. I loved telling them I was a member and had been a part of DG for a few years now. Thanks for making this such a great site. It was really nice to be able to "brag" about our site with full confidence.
Thanks!
George
I got to brag a little!
Sounds like a great event! I'm glad you got to go... very cool that they were "in the know" about DG!
